Join us for a weekend of macro photography in the Shire of Manjimups majestic forests and heathlands! Renowned macro photographers Paul Irvine and Beth Baker will be in town for a weekend of searching for our tiny treasures - peacock spiders and other macro invertebrates and our beautiful wildflowers in peak season. A great chance to monitor any impacts of last year's extended dry period!
Plenty of great events to join in on over the weekend:
DAY 1
Sundowner talk by Paul Irvine 6.30pm Friday evening at the Southern Forests Community Landcare office (Lot 908 Edwards St, Manjimup). For more information click here
DAY 2
Wildflower Photography Workshop 9am Saturday at the Meeting Space, Northcliffe Community Resource Centre;
Followed by a morning of macro photography in Northcliffe and then at Windy Harbour after lunch (BYO lunch, water, hats, sunscreen or wet weather gear). For more information click here
DAY 3
More macro photography Sunday morning at 9am, gather at the King Jarrah carpark on Perup Rd east of Manjimup (BYO picnic lunch). For more information click here
